Peltier Trough

Make a 4 foot wide 8 foot long parabolic trough. Place 2 rows of 40mm High Temp TEG chips (122 total) along the length of the trough where the focal point illuminates the entire width and length of the aligned chips. The back side of the chips are attached to an 80 mm square or rectangular channel that has automotive antifreeze being pumped through it to cool the chips. The coolant is circulated through a recycled automotive radiator after being circulated through a heat exchanger that has a coil for a fresh water pipe to be used to feed your water heater and/or home heating system. You can potentially have 800 watts or more plus hot water. More power is possible with a greater delta T factor. Depending on efficency of your system design, power to run cooling pump and solar activity your system may get more or less. Average working temp for a TEG is Appx 122 degrees F on cold side and 446 degrees F on hot side. Your wiring can be series parallel in your desired amperage and voltage configuration. You can possibly build the system for less than 2,500 dollars if you shop wisely. I would say if you can get 400 watts out of the system you could power your PC with it.

The solar power on each cell will be 30X.

You can vary the number of TEG cells and size of trough to fit your needs, this is only concept of what can be done.

Note: I have not yet cataloged the heat potential in degrees F for 30X amplification of the sun. I do know that 24X is close to or just above 220 degrees F.
I will get back into doing experiments soon, all my testing has been dormant since I moved here from Florida.
The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up... His duty is to lay foundation, for those who are to come, and point the way. NikolaTesla
