Beer bottles are usually made of thinner glass. Because all glass beverage bottles are inconsistent due to the forming process, thinner glass is much more difficult to separate after scoring. This method applies precision heat distribution allowing for controlled glass separation along the scoreline. This method works great for thicker wine bottles and champagne bottles. Controlling the exact placement of heat allows for separation of glass rings less than 1/2" in width.
